12.13.08 Projects Update
I haven't blogged properly in quite a while so you may be wondering what I've been up to in the world of Media Arts, aside from making LOLcats and photoshopping my friends into paperclips. Here's a brief summary:

WEBSITE GET! -- For some time now, I've been working on a website for Equicom Bloodstock, a Long Island-based horse trading business. Using my favorite content management platform, the almighty Drupal, I've managed to create a dynamic web database for listing and detailing hundreds of thoroughbred horses that will be up for sale. This week I've begun styling the site and I'm not too shy to present my work for the internet's discerning eyes, so you can take a look at what I've done by visiting www.EquicomBloodstock.com

TRAILER GET! -- Another mini-project I've been undertaking is cutting a trailer for Departure, a romantic comedy from writer/director Mauricio Alexander. The film has some really great cinematography and I'm now looking at potentially being taken on as one of the film's editors. The trailer is coming along nicely, but taking a tad longer than I had expected.

ROBOT GET! -- Finally, the project that I'm most excited about but haven't had much time for: Last month I was selected to produce promos for Channel Frederator, an awesome cartoon site/podcast which also happens to be the home of super-rad animator Rob Schrab (creator of Twigger's Holiday and Robot Bastard). The promo I'm making involves robots, and I've already got one sitting in my living room, ready to become the next internet pop culture phenomenon -- I'm gonna make you a STAR, baby!
I'll be blogging about my progress on all of these things far more frequently than in the past since I've recently discovered the versatile and sexy blogging service, Tumblr. Also, feel free to follow me on Twitter if you haven't already.
Pea-shout, Internet.
